Are women less likely than men to be heard by managers?
This article in HR Magazine states: “Women are more likely to be ignored by their managers in the workplace than men, according to a new report from professional services firm PWC.”
The knock-on effect of this is that women are not being promoted and are becoming dissatisfied with their job, potentially leaving the company. In today’s challenging job market few businesses can afford to ignore or lose talented employees. The article does go on to suggest some ways that HR departments can make a conscious effort to create an inviting environment to support women.
